Been a-knitting

Over the last few months I've been knitting quite a bit. Here are the things I've made lately. The blue and yellow/green hats I made over Conference weekend. The blanket I'm giving to my sister-in-law who just had a baby boy and the scarf I made because I wanted to try doing I'm a bit addicted...

You are one talented gal!! I've never knitted anything before... did you teach yourself or take a class??

My sister-in-law taught me actually over Thanksgiving. Then I just practiced things reading a pattern. There is also a great website called knittinghelp.com that has TONS of videos to help you. I've had to go there a few times to see how to do new things.

My mom tried to teach me how to knit once. I was ever so confused.

I have done some crocheting in my day, but I have to have someone show me. I don't have the gene that allows me to decipher crocheting/knitting instructions.

Cute stuff! Looks like you have a natural talent.

I cannot knit. Well, with those loom things to make hats, I can do it. But honestly, I really can't sew/knit/crochet/cross-stitch/etc. I told hubby today that I was thinking I could take up gardening before I took up sewing and he laughed hard at that one --mostly because I can't garden, either. Ah, we all have our own talents! Jamie, yours are wonderful! I'm very, very, very impressed.
