Memory Meme

There's a new meme going around these days and it's a lot of fun, so I thought I'd get into the action to! It's all about memories that you have of me, your dear old flip flop mama. If you knew me before I was called that consider yourself privileged. Okay most of you--if not all--probably did. Here's how to play:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot—anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Have fun!

Remember when we lived in Ramona and you would have long conversations with yourself while you were in the bathroom? You were probably 9. Mom & I used to crack up outside the door. Is that too embarassing? That's what sisters are for, right? I also remember when you saved mom and spoke at my missionary farewell. You gave a very nice talk.

I don't have a blog but thought I'd comment anyway... I remember when you told me that T-bone asked you to marry him. We were at the branch camp out at the orange grove. I was ssssoooo excited for you guys!! You are such a great couple!

Nice, Emily...thanks for bringing up such a painful subject. I'm kidding! I laugh at myself too.

Alison, I remember that too :) That was such a fun night!

Hmm. Well I remember that great december when we had our babies but I didn't really know you then because I wasn't that into the ec. But I remember before you had the blog if you didn't write for a while I would go to the San Diego board to see if you said anything there about what you were up to. I am not really your stalker I just like reading what you have to say :). BTW I love what your sister said. I remember sitting in the br and creating long stories when I was little. I don't think my mom and brother were outside listening to me though (they were probably in their own br doing it too-lol).

I remember when you started commenting on my blog and I felt all special because I had seen your comments at MMW and other places and I thought you were super cool. And you are! And then you became my blogging buddy and I felt super cool.

OH! And the time you made me my awesome bag that I still use. That was a great memory, too. :)

Even though I don't know you IRL I have a lot of memories of you. I remember noticing you and thinking that I really needed to get to know you. I felt a strong connection to you from the beginning, almost like we were meant to be friends. You have been a great support and encouragement to me.

One of the many memories is when we were going to that BYU-H dance that was in town and you had asked JJ to go with you and he ended up not being able to go because of how long his hair was, so we ended up sharing my date...Joke Jr, Jeremy. It ended up being a blast and we had so much fun.
