Actually, chocolate has specific chemicals that literally raise your emotional levels to a real high, releiveing stress, and giving off a slight euphoria. Also the small amount of caffeine, along with the other chemical compounds in chocolate can either induce or reduce a migraine headache. Lucky you if it is the latter! The higher the cacao content the more the antioxidants it contains, which are known for their great health benefits. So while you get rid of your headache you may also be preventing various forms of cancer!Peanut butter has protein and a bit of sugar. The sugar will give you a boost while the proteins in the peanut butter will help sustain those energetic feelings. If you are having a headache similar to a migraine, which many hormonal headaches can be, science has proven that cold compresses applied to the head will help restrict the blood flow in that area of the brain, thus reducing the pain felt. i.e. Ice cream *is* a good idea whenever you have a head ache. Seems to me, you have just hit on a very holistic method of treatment.

Getting in here a little late but I was thinking that it sounded pretty yummy. Maybe a pickle on the side just in case it is something more than pms ;). Or maybe the salt from the pickle will just make the brownie taste that much better.
