Honesty is the best policy

Which is why today is Anonymous Day. I am relieving you all of your identities today so that you will be truly honest. Below are some finger puppets I knitted. I'm thinking of making a bunch of sets for the November boutique that I'm going to do but I want some unbiased opinions. My friends all say they love them but they have to say that, ya know? I do think the photos make them look freakier than they really are cuz I took these really fast but I think they are kind of funny looking.

So click "anonymous" on the comment form to tell me what you think and let me have it!

Thanks so much everyone!

Motherboard, heck yes you can buy some! How much would you pay for a set? I really have no idea how much to charge for these.

Cute cute cute!! I especially love the pig and the duck :D Have you ever thought of selling on etsy??

I think they are adorable. Only one suggestion on the horse. Maybe giving it more hair and making it shorter or tying a little knot at the end of each hair would be fun. A few variations. However, what you have looks great. If you do start selling them I want some.

I think their eyes need to be pointing up. Like ^ instead of down, I think it makes them look sad.

Otherwise, they're so cute and the kids will love them!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try the eyes upside-down and see what they look like. I just followed the pattern and since the stitches are the direction they are that's why it's a v and not an upside down v. I'll try it though!

Melissa, I've thought about opening an etsy store I just don't have enough things yet. I think I will by the end of the month and see what kind of response I get.

I love, love, love them!! They are seriously way too cute. The little person is really cool. Do you have a "girl" pattern too? Keep up the great knitting "Mama"!

I think they're adorable. I love the animals. Old McDonald is a little funky, but that only adds to his charm (I like funky--funky is good).

How long do they take to make? That, of course, would have to figure into the price. I bought a set of hand-knitted (or maybe crocheted?) Veggie Tale finger puppets for somewhere between $15-$20 one time. I think it was a set of 9, but three of them were little peas.

This Old McDonald is a little weird because I spaced his eyes too far apart. I'll fix that on the next ones. I'm telling you he looked just like Lord Voldemort before I put his hair on. It was creepy! LOL

I was thinking somewhere between the $12 and $18 dollar range. They take about an hour to an hour and a half each. So if I was going to factor that in they'd be like $30 bucks but I wouldn't even think of charging that much.

I think they are delightful!!

It really is a charming little farm. Gee..if they take 1 hour each to make, maybe you should charge $20.

How about you do etsy first and tell me how it goes and then I'll get enough umphhh to get my stuff on etsy too:) I've gotta pay for all this preschool somehow!!! So did Rachel end up in the small class after ALL THAT??!! Izzie wants to be in there with Bree Gardner...I wonder if they'd switch her.

Oh, and I think you should ditch ole' mcdonald's arms...that would maybe make them faster to do and more uniform???

I agree. LOVE the puppets. Add more mane to the horse for my taste, but other than that, adorable, and I'd say $18.00 is a great price. GO Etsy!
